Today was Mother's Day and a really special day. When I think of Mother's Day my head always starts to swim. My thoughts this morning were best summarized as this:
Happy Mothers Day to all those who have sweet babies here on earth, beautiful angels in heaven and to those who desire more than anything to become a mother one day. This day is for you- to remind you that you're appreciated, cherished, loved and believed in. You are not alone in this journey and today I hope you feel treasured and find an inner peace to carry you gracefully through the next year. To Moms Everywhere....
I feel 100% blessed to have 2 sweet, healthy girls for Will and I to raise. They are so much fun and so very full of life. I never, ever thought I would laugh and with them as much as I do. They are total crack ups, but also total sweeties. Today was wonderful. Emily got up nice and early at 6:30 to start celebrating. Haha. it kills me how when one sleeps in, the other is up early. I pray we all get a memo to all sleep in one day. It's happened one time before... and I have faith that it could happen again! :)
Will did great! He got me an electric toothbrush- which might seem silly- but I have been asking for and talking about getting one for a long time. Lucky him, it came with 2, so he get's one now too. I feel extra grown up now and my teeth already feel so happy and clean! I let the cycle run a few times this moring! haha! He also got me the Les Mis video which I'm excited to see. I've seen it live a few times and have heard great things about the movie. He and the girls also got me sweet cards and Emily drew a beautiful picture for me. I just love that girl!
Will was playing at church this morning so the girls and I decided to go to the 11:30 service so we could go straight from there to lunch with Barrie, Nancy, Andie, Tyler, Kailey, Ken and Sharon. Sidenote: I just LOVE that my husband is at his very best when he is playing music for Jesus! I can't wait to see how he'll be used in the future! Love you, Will!
The lunch buffet at Cinnabar was lovely! We visited and ate, and ate, and ate and then took pictures (my fav!)
