Saturday Fun...

Last weekend we celebrated our good friend Norah's 2nd birthday!
Wow!!! 2 already... I simply do not know how that is possible.
We all love Norah so much.
Often Emily will randomly bring her up.
Will and I were at the hospital the day that she was born, and I was completely blessed, honored, humbled, grateful, speechless, filled with joy when Josh and Evie approached me and asked if I would be willing to take photographs during her birth.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!
To be able to quietly observe the miracle of child birth from across the room and in no pain at all...
yes, please!!!

This blog is not about that day, but I will say this. For the entire time I was in the delivery room, I was crying uncontrollably. I was so moved. So touched to be able to capture such a monumental moment for such dear friends of ours. Watching Evie so focused, so in tune with her body was amazing. And watching her and Josh interact in such a once in a lifetime, new moment was beautiful.
Their communication both verbal and non verbal... astounding.

I stood in that delivery room with my camera as my eyes, and down my cheeks and all over my shirt were so many tears. Tears of joy. Prayerful tears. I was speechless for them.
I loved Norah Pearl so much already, and yet, she wasn't even born yet.

And now she's TWO!!!!

Happy birthday Norah, girl!

And now is the time that I shamefully mention that I was only able to be at her party for an hour due to a work obligation and I did not get ONE photo of the birthday girl!!! :( :( :(

how did that happen?! hmmm... can someone say Family Session needs to be scheduled pronto?!
:)

I did somehow manage to grab a few shots of my girls playing though...

I love watching Emily and Will play around, and I love
these times when I'm far away and they have no idea I'm watching them... Look how sweet they are!

Maggie wanted to be over there, but I was stalling her from running about
by giving her lots of animal cookies

I look at this picture and see SUCH a big girl...

At what age will these photos stop? She loves when she gets thrown up to the sky :)

Hehe... they are so cool!

And one more for the road... Maggie enjoying those animal cookies.
Love her sweet face, especially when it's covered in such a yummy treat!

Thank you Jesus for my family!!!!
