It should be no surprise to anyone that a majority of my blog (and lets face it, LIFE!!!) are and will be for the next 20 or so years revolving around our girls. BUT. I also am going to be sure to be taking time to love on and journal about my husband. After all, I want this entire blog to be a place where my girls can look back to learn about their lives and to allow them to try to figure out their mama a bit
Having these sweet girls to raise demands so much of us, and each day is filled with such wonder. But behind those days, the good and the bad: Is a husband, a dad, a man, a team mate that has my back. And let me tell you: although things aren’t always perfect, I am SOOOOOOO thankful that I have him beside me, to help me and encourage me.

This October we are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary- woohoo!!!!- and we have planned to take a cruise to celebrate. Just us. No kids!!! I haven’t ever been on a cruise before, but I have heard lots of great things. I’m really looking forward to it. I think about it just about every single day! Sleep. Unplugging from the stresses of the outside world. Being young at heart and carefree- yes please and thank you! I’m also loving that cruises are all inclusive (for the most part). The fact that our vacation is already paid off- yea, that’s something to LOVE!!! The cruise is a 6 day one, so I know I’ll miss our girls, but they’re going to have a lot of fun with their grandparents!!! We are going to be going to Cabo and Puerta Vallarta. I need to look over the excursions and different activities and decide what we’d like to do. The best part of it all. Time. Just the two of us. *insert happy dance here!!!* I’m really excited.

Disneyland 2012: In line for the Racers in Cars Land! |
These pictures are all from my phone, just random ones of us I had on there. As I was looking through all my phone pics, I had a realization that he and I will need to start taking waaaay more pictures together.
Again, gotta be intentional about focusing our energies on US!!! On a random sidenote, isn’t it amazing how a photograph can take you back to a time or place?! A smell, a day. A feeling, a fear or a joy. I just love the gift of photos.
The pictures below from our date night a few weeks ago, I felt completely thrown together and wasn’t quite feeling the need to be photographed, but I’m so glad I pulled out my camera to be silly. These are fun to look back on. A fun night out, with great conversation. Lots of laughter and love!!!

Silly Smooches! |
William, I love you so much! You are a great man. Thank you for being my life partner through the ups and the downs. I can’t wait to see what’s next for us and I’m already looking forward to our date in a few weeks! I am so proud of you, and of us! You make me want to be a better person and watching you with our girls is quite possibly one of the best things ever! Also, thank you for believing in me and my hearts desires. Your support with my photography and making sure I get some time to recharge is so very appreciated. I love you. I love you. I love you. xoxoxox

New York 2011: Sending kisses to Emily |
Psalm 91
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”
